Ever wondered how often your local park gets mowed? What's involved in trail grooming, tree maintenance, invasive species management, and keeping creeks healthy? How are decisions made about new features like washrooms, water parks, fields, courts or play equipment?

Join us for a walk in the park with Gord, your Colwood Parks Manager

Gord is always eager to hear about your experience of our local parks, answer questions, share information and talk about what the future holds for parks and trails in Colwood as outlined in the City's new Parks & Recreation Master Plan.

This summer the City will be seeking your input to help us create new Parks Management Plans for Latoria Creek Park and Havenwood Park, so let's start there!

1. Latoria Creek Park
   Thursday, May 19 at 6pm
   Latoria Road near Wishart Road (meet at the Latoria Creek Park sign)
2. Havenwood Park
   Thursday, June 16 at 6pm
   Veterans Memorial Parkway between Cairndale and Latoria (meet at the Havenwood Park sign)
3. Lagoon Beach
   Thursday, July 28 at 6pm
   Ocean Boulevard (meet by the welcome sign at the base of Lagoon Road)
4. Outlook Park
   Thursday, August 18 at 6 pm
   571 Delora Drive (meet by the Outlook Park sign)
