Please provide input on Colwood Council's DRAFT 2024-2027 Strategic Plan
Building on past strategic plans, Colwood Council has prepared a new draft strategic plan to focus on the specific needs of our community over their term in office.
Six Strategic Pathways
The Strategic Plan is not intended to be a list of everything that the City does, but rather a list of priority areas where Council has identified a gap between where Colwood is and where it needs to be.
The Draft plan outlines six strategic pathways where Council wants to make meaningful progress over the next four years: ECONOMY, INFRASTRUCTURE, ENGAGEMENT, WELL-BEING, GOVERNANCE, and ENVIRONMENT
Residents are encouraged to provide feedback on the draft plan
The City is encouraging residents to voice their views about the draft strategic plan. An engagement summary will be presented to Council in the new year, so that they may consider refinements to the plan before it is finalized and implemented.
Feedback was encourged between November 2023 and January 2024. The survey asked:
Tell us which tactics are most important to you for each of the six pathways.
Tell us if the indicators for each pathways will be useful measures of success.
Tell us if there is anything missing for each pathway.
