Lookout Lake in Colwood, BC

Do you have photos of the Lookout Lake area before the dam was built in the 50's?

We would love to see your photos and hear your stories about the building of the dam and the creation of the lake.

The dam was built by a private forestry company before the City of Colwood was incorporated, so there is limited information about its design and construction.

If you have historical photos of the area prior to 1958, or images of the dam being built, we hope you might share them. (A photo of your photo will do! All your photos will remain yours to keep.)

Your artifacts may provide valuable information for the consultants working on the dam.
